As we are about to dawn in to the New Year – 2022 in a few days with the New Year Bell already tolls, many of us must have promised to do and not to do something as our Resolutions for the New Year. However, as the New Year Day comes and goes, we all tend to forget our promises and the resolutions get stuck.

But if we pick one which, we can feel from our heart, may bring in some changes in our lives to some extent, we should try to hook and hold on to that. And to make it more effective, let us keep our resolutions shared with our dear ones and see the result.

Here are some tips for making our resolutions more effective.

• Fix our Target:

Leaving smoking or drinking ? Not using plastic to become more environment friendly ? Least use of credit card ? To become smarter at work place ? Fine. Choose any or many which seem positive.

• Start Planning from now :

If we take a resolution on the night of 31st December, we may not reach anywhere. We have to plan and take our resolutions well in advance.

• Road Map to our Planning :

Let us put our planning in black and white. If we write and progress towards our goal, chances of fulfilling our resolutions will be higher. Lets not write negatives – like – “I will not be idling”. But write “ I will do free-hand exercise daily to keep myself fit” !

• Keep the entire Year in front :

We must break the whole year’s target into small monthly milestones. If we take a resolution of reducing our weight by 10 kg, in six months, then we must keep our monthly reduction target at 2 kg !

• Remain flexible and changeable :

There is no rule that one has to remain rigid as per written resolutions. As the year progresses, we may also alter our targets to suit. Flexibility is the key to any success.

However, WHEN CHIPS ARE DOWN, we may focus on three most critical aspects of our daily routine.

Attitude :

Do not wait for opportunity.
Create and grab the opportunity.

Team work :

Help others to achieve their dreams
and we will achieve ours.
This is the hall mark of a great
Team and a great team player.

Conversion :

Try and convert our ‘ Fear of Failure ’
into ‘ Confidence of Success ’ !!

Merry Christmas &
A Very Happy New Year 2022
